Jomsom Muktinath Trek

Being the part of ‘Annapurna Circuit Trek’, Jomsom Muktinath Trek is one of the classical treks in Annapurna Region which progresses through the Ancient Route used by people from Mustang to trade with Tibetans. Jomsom Muktinath Trekking is the ideal way of acquainting ourselves with the life in Trans Himalaya in an easy way without enduring the perilous trek.
Exploring the core areas of Kathmandu city, exploring the assets of Lake City of Pokhara, walking through the world’s deepest gorge at Kali Gandaki Valley, enjoying the looming views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and other mountains, crossing the woods of blooming rhododendron, traveling through the culturally rich highland villages, tasting apple wine at Marpha which is famous for its apple orchard and paying homage to Muktinath temple are major attractions of ‘Jomsom Muktinath Trek.’
Trekking experts from ‘Great Himalaya Guide’ have crafted 15days itinerary package for ‘Jomsom Muktinath Trek’ which begins with about 5hour of picturesque drive along Prithvi Highway to Pokhara. Driving further to Nayapul, we will initiate the wonderful trekking by walking towards Tikhe Dhunga. The trekking progresses further through the beautiful village of Ghorepani to the natural hot spring geyser at Tatopani. The trekking continues further through Ghasa, Larjung, Marpha and Kagbeni to reach to Muktinath. Taking bath at Muktinath is believed to liberate people off of their sins committed during lifetime. The gratifying trekking ends as we head back to Jomsom from where we will take a flight back to Pokhara. Scenic drive from Pokhara will lead us to Kathmandu from where it all started.
