Gokyo Chola Pass Trek

Gokyo Cho la Pass Treking is an important and widely traveled travel itinerary in the region of Everest. Gokyo Lake via Chola Pass Trek provides the trekkers with the opportunity to explore several popular passes of the Everest region besides the chances to behold the magnificent views of the towering mountains. The hike will take approximately take 6 hours to reach the Gokyo Cho la Pass Trekking as it lies at the intersection of La Renjo Pass (5415m). The paths often follow steep ups and downs with a ridge of sand. Visitors will cross an icy stream, and walk through the spectacular rock, meet several yaks and Twin Lakes Kharkas Renjo. The view from the top is amazing along with the sights of peaks ranging from 7000 to 8000 meter. Kalapatthar, Tengboche, Chola glaciers are the major attractions of the trek. Gokyo Peak also offers magnificent view of the high peaks, from west to east are Cho (8153 m), Gyachung Kang (7922 m), Everest (8,848 m), Lhotse (8,501 m) and Makalu.
The best seasons for the trek to Gokyo Lake Chola Pass are February, March, April, May, June, September, October, and November. However, July and August are supposed to be the good from hiking perspective but sometimes it may not be so clearly visibility due to rain. It is a moderate trek and you can use tea house for accommodation. The minimum altitude is 2840m and its maximum altitude is Kala patthar 5550m.
Gokyo Cho la Pass Trek follows several routes to the Everest Base Camp which provides dazzling views for those who come to trek and help for the ordinary ascend in the high altitude. Many trekkers used to think that they will fail to view lots of things but you can trust that you will not miss anything from the regular Everest Base Camp as you will follow the same route when you will return from the Everest Base Camp Trek. You will enjoy this trek and will remember throughout your entire life. In terms of acclimatization, you will acclimatize at Namche Bazaar and Machhermo, which provides an opportunity to know lots of things about the culture and life styles of Sherpa.
